Baccarat is the highest-RTP casino game and the top choice among Malaysian players at Syabas99. From standard tables to exclusive Lightning Baccarat, it's all here — along with strategy guides to help you play smarter every session.
Baccarat is a card game with over five hundred years of history, originating in Italy before spreading across the world through the grand casinos of Europe and eventually becoming the game of choice across Asia, including Malaysia. At Syabas99, baccarat isn't just an old game played digitally — it's a full Live Casino experience delivered at the highest quality, with professional dealers and an interface built with Malaysian players in mind.
What makes baccarat stand out from other casino games is its simplicity and the value it offers. Unlike blackjack or poker, which demand deep strategy and active decision-making every round, baccarat simply asks you to choose between three outcomes — Banker wins, Player wins, or Tie. Once your bet is placed, cards are dealt according to fixed rules and the result is determined automatically. You can sit back, relax, and watch the game unfold.
This is why so many Syabas99 players from all walks of life choose baccarat as their go-to game — it can be learned in minutes, yet it never loses its depth or excitement even after hundreds of rounds.
Just three betting options. Perfect for new players taking their first steps in live casino at Syabas99.
The Banker bet offers an RTP of 98.94% — among the highest of any casino game at Syabas99.
Each baccarat round at Syabas99 wraps up in around 25 seconds — perfect for a fast-paced, high-energy session.

How to Play Baccarat — The Basics You Need to Know
Understand card values and bet types before you sit down at your first Syabas99 baccarat table.
Baccarat uses a unique card value system. The goal is to have a hand with a total value as close to 9 as possible. If the total exceeds 9, the first digit is dropped — for example, 15 becomes 5, and 18 becomes 8.
Example: If you are dealt a 7 and an 8, the total is 15, so your hand value is 5. If you are dealt a K and a 9, the total is 19, so your hand value is 9 — the best possible score in baccarat, known as a "Natural".
The third card drawing rules are applied automatically — you don't need to make any decisions. The Syabas99 system handles it for you in accordance with standard baccarat rules:
| Hand | Initial Amount | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Player | 0–5 | Draw third card |
| Player | 6–7 | Stand (no third card) |
| Player/Banker | 8–9 | Natural — no further cards |
| Banker | 0–2 | Always draw a third card |
| Banker | 3–6 | Depends on Player's third card |
| Banker | 7 | Stand (no third card) |
Choose the bet that best suits your playing style and risk tolerance at Syabas99.
The smartest bet in baccarat. Statistically, the Banker has a slightly higher chance of winning than the Player. Syabas99 charges a 5% commission on Banker wins — this is industry standard and still keeps the RTP exceptionally high.
Commission: 5% of winningsThe second-best bet in baccarat, with an RTP that nearly matches Banker. No commission is charged on Player wins, and payouts are a full 1:1. A solid choice for players who prefer not to deal with commission calculations on every win.
Commission: NoneA bet that pays 8:1, but with an RTP far lower than Banker or Player. It occurs roughly 9.5% of the time, making it a high-risk wager. At Syabas99, players generally avoid the Tie as a primary bet and only place it occasionally for variety.
Commission: None • Payout: 8:1All Live Baccarat Tables at Syabas99

Join TableThe most authentic baccarat experience at Syabas99. The dealer reveals each card slowly in the classic luxury casino "squeeze" ritual — building tension like nothing else. The moment that final card is turned over is one of the most thrilling in all of live casino.
Join TableA growing favourite among Syabas99 players — no 5% commission is charged on Banker wins. Instead, a Banker win on a total of 6 pays out at only 0.5:1. Ideal for players who prefer not to calculate commission after every winning hand.
Join TableThe most exclusive table in Syabas99's baccarat collection, featuring the highest betting limits and complete privacy. A dedicated dealer, a private table, and personalised service — for high-stakes players who expect a five-star baccarat experience.
Join TableOne of the most powerful features at the Syabas99 live baccarat table is the real-time scorecard and road map display. This visual record of past round results helps Malaysian players spot patterns and make more informed betting decisions.
Although each baccarat round is technically independent (as the deck is reshuffled periodically), many experienced players still use the road map as a visual guide to track the current "streak" or "chop" pattern before deciding whether to bet Banker or Player in the next round.
* This is a sample record. The actual road map is displayed live at each Syabas99 baccarat table.
Baccarat is a game of chance — no strategy can guarantee a win. That said, there are smart bankroll management approaches that can help you play longer, reduce losses, and maximise your opportunities at the Syabas99 table.
This is the simplest and most recommended strategy for new players. By betting Banker every round, you consistently take advantage of a 98.94% RTP — one of the highest of any casino game. The 5% commission is already factored into this RTP figure, making it still the best option statistically.
Set a fixed bet amount for every round — say RM20 each time — and don't change it whether you're on a winning streak or a losing one. Flat betting helps you maintain bankroll control and avoid the heavy losses that come from emotional betting, which tends to happen when players get too caught up in a negative streak.
A positive progression system where you only increase your bet after a win. Start with 1 unit (e.g. RM10). After a win, your next bets follow the sequence: 3 units (RM30), then 2 units (RM20), then 6 units (RM60). If you lose at any point in the sequence, reset back to 1 unit. This system maximises winning streaks while keeping losses in check.
Before sitting down at any Syabas99 baccarat table, decide on two limits — a win limit (e.g. stop when you're up RM500) and a loss limit (e.g. stop when you're down RM200). Stick to both, no exceptions. This is the discipline that separates smart players from those who consistently walk away empty-handed.
An 8:1 payout on Tie may look attractive, but its RTP is only 85.64% compared to nearly 99% for Banker and Player. This means the house edge on Tie exceeds 14% — which is very high. Experienced Syabas99 players may occasionally place a Tie bet as a small side wager, but it is never their core strategy.

If you visit any serious Malaysian online casino platform — Syabas99 included — and look at which game has the most players seated, the answer is almost always baccarat. Not slots, not roulette, not blackjack. Baccarat. And that's not by chance or trend alone — there are very solid reasons why this game dominates player preference across Asia, particularly in Malaysia.
First of all, baccarat is a game that respects your time. Each round wraps up in under a minute. There is no need to sit and deliberate over strategy — unlike blackjack, where you have to remember when to hit, stand, double or split. In baccarat, your decision is made before the cards are dealt, and then you simply sit back and watch. This makes baccarat easy to enjoy while watching football or catching up with friends in a WhatsApp group — a laid-back style that suits the way many Malaysian players like to unwind.
People often ask — is playing baccarat at Syabas99 the same as playing at a physical casino? Honestly, it's very close, with a few added advantages that brick-and-mortar casinos simply can't offer. First, you can play from home or anywhere in Malaysia as long as you have internet access. Second, you can start with bets as low as RM5 at Syabas99, whereas physical casinos typically have higher minimum bets at their baccarat tables. Third, you can open multiple tables simultaneously on Syabas99 if you want to — something that's physically impossible to do in person.
More importantly, Syabas99's live baccarat tables feature real human dealers from world-class casino studios. You can watch the dealer shuffle the deck, place the cards on the table, and flip each one with their own hands — all streamed live in HD video quality. This is not a computer game with 3D animations. It's a real casino brought directly to your screen.
Many Malaysian baccarat players at Syabas99 who have tried other platforms before have eventually returned to or stayed with Syabas99 for a few practical reasons. Chief among them is the ease of deposit — with Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, and FPX all available, topping up is never a hassle. The entire process from registration to first bet takes under 5 minutes — a key factor for players who may be trying online baccarat for the very first time.
Syabas99 also offers a clean, easy-to-navigate baccarat interface. Past round statistics, road maps, and probability percentages are all clearly displayed without overwhelming you. New players can immediately follow what is happening at the table without having to read through a lengthy manual first.
Behind every big baccarat win at Syabas99, there is a real human story. A player from Penang, a small business owner, once shared how he started with RM200 at a Classic Baccarat table at Syabas99, applied a consistent flat betting strategy, and walked away with cumulative winnings that returned more than 10 times his initial stake over several weeks of disciplined play. He never played out of greed, never chased his losses, and always stopped once he hit his daily profit target.
Stories like this are not a promise that everyone will win. Baccarat is a game of chance, and every bet carries the risk of loss. But they do show that with the right approach, strong discipline, and a trusted platform like Syabas99, baccarat can be a genuinely rewarding and profitable experience in the long run for Malaysian players who keep a cool head.

Responsible Gambling
At Syabas99, we believe baccarat is most enjoyable when played in a healthy, controlled, and responsible way.
Set a maximum amount you are comfortable spending each baccarat session. Do not exceed this limit even if you feel you are on a good streak.
The fast pace of baccarat can easily have you playing for hours without realising it. Set a timer and take a short break every 45 minutes to keep your judgment sharp.
If you reach your preset loss limit, stop playing for the day. Chasing losses is the single most dangerous habit in any casino game.
